Drive device- and system-level design of thin-film lithium niobate modulators — including optical waveguides, MMI couplers, DC/GC, and traveling-wave RF electrodes. Lead GDS layout, manage MPW / Full-Mask tape-outs, and perform optoelectronic characterization and failure analysis on returned wafers.
Requirements
- · Master's degree or above in electromagnetic fields & microwave technology, physical electronics, optical engineering, or related
- · Optics track: proficient in photonic device simulation (Lumerical MODE / FDTD); familiar with lithium niobate material properties and etching processes
- · RF track: proficient in RF / microwave circuit design (HFSS, ADS); familiar with high-frequency transmission line theory, impedance matching and RF probe testing
Plus
- · Hands-on thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) tape-out experience
- · Familiar with silicon photonics or InP platforms
- · Background in high-speed SerDes or coherent optical module design
